Class Participation Week of 2/23/15

Last week, we discussed Atticus' "Laws of Life" in class and shared some of our own.  What is a "Law of Life" that you have seen in the media (television, movies, music, etc) or read about in a book (either fiction or non-fiction).  Does this law of life apply to you?  Did you follow it before seeing it in the media or literature?  Do you plan on following it now?  How do you think your life may be different if you follow it, or if you already do, how would your life be different if you do not?  (Note: Feel free to respond to only one question above, or as many as you'd like to reach the full response requirement).

  1. A law of life I've noted was "Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get." I heard this from the classic movie Forrest Gump. I interpret the quote as everyday is different and you won't know how the day will go. It might be a great day or a bad one. This law of life does apply to me because I start the day not knowing what to expect.

  2. One law of life that I have seen on many TV show is “Always live life to the fullest”. I always followed this law before seeing it on TV shows such as Law and order, Chicago Fire, and Chicago PD and I plan on continuing to follow it. This law basically means to me that you should live life well because you never know when it will change for the worst.. This applies to me because based on past experiences I never know when things will change for the worst.
